Travel & Tourism Committee

Mission -  Committee members from through out the County dedicated to promoting Nogales and Santa Cruz County for the sole purpose of increasing tourism dollars for our local businesses though marketing materials such as visitor guides, maps, billboards, tourism web page linked to the chamber website, other local chambers and government entities.

Cooperating with the Arizona Office of Tourism and Arizona Department of Commerce to enhance the attributes of our County. Meets the second Tuesday of Each Month at various locations.

Government Affairs Committee

Mission — Study and analyze issues of interest Nogales/Santa Cruz County and its business community, recommend to the Board of Directors advocacy positions on those issues that the committee deems appropriate, and communicate the Chamber's viewpoint clearly and strongly to our membership, elected officials, and the community at large. On issues which the Chamber does not align itself with a particular point of view, the GAC will seek to present fair representation of both sides of the issue to the membership, elected officials and community at large. Committee meets the second Friday of every month @ 8:30 a.m.—Chamber’s Conference Room.

Cultural Arts Committee

Mission — To celebrate culture diversity by presenting the arts as a common language. We as members of this committee want to enhance the image of the City of Nogales and Santa Cruz County thru the art promoting civic pride in artistic accomplishments. Promote economic development thru the arts. The Cultural Arts Committee seeks to educate and encourage the public to value, support and participate in the art. Sponsor Art & Cultural Activities that educate and stimulate appreciation of the art. Create and diverse to foster artistic expressions.
