Bahia de Kino  (Kino Bay)

 

 

The perfect Sonoran pueblo-on-the-beach is Kino Bay, 107 kilometers from Hermosillo. It beautiful white sand beach and the turquoise sea are an excellent choice for a holiday or vacation trip.

 

Here, the visitor finds the ideal place to relax and enjoy a great variety of water sports and activities, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, skiing, sport fishing or merely walking on the beach.

The visitor should also admire their ironwood figures (palo fierro) representing fish, turtles, and birds.
Strike a deal with a Seri and they can also lead you through a magical tour to the Islands of San Esteban, Patos and Tiburon.

 

A varied sub-aquatic marine life of the fascinating Sea of Cortez is to be discovered with plenty of activities. Colorful fish, thousands of small invertebrates, large crustaceans, devil fish, sponges and occasionally turtles can be found near the coast side of the islands  where even snooping sea lions will be your company.
